Chipmunk Hollow has (3) masterbuilt, true masonry fireplaces. Two are see-thru / double-sided. All are so massive that they required engineering of support foundations beneath to be poured down to solid bedrock in the earth. And though 'massive' ... they are even more beautiful.
The double sided unit (right), is constructed of more than 40 tons of solid rock. It divides the kitchen and great room and is open on both sides. This natural stone fireplace is one of the most impressive you will find in any home, anywhere.
The double sided unit dividing the master suite is slightly smaller in scale, yet no less grand. The third fireplace at the basement level boasts a rare, double arch design and has its own unique appeal.
